Looking for something a little naughty and a little nice to ring in the new year? Check out “La Soiree,” a variety show that features back-to-back talent that’s earned accolades worldwide before joining New York City’s Union Square Theater (100 E. 17th St.).

One notable contribution is strongmen act “The English Gents” (they’re actually Australian), who appeared on “David Letterman” this month. They’re not just brutes, they’re actually a stunningly graceful duo (for example, the image above is not edited and required no external help or props).

There’s also Stephen “Bath Boy” Williams, a regular crowd favorite who takes an ordinary household fixture — the bathtub — and changes the way you’ll look at it forever. (Necessary reminder: Don’t try any of these feats at home.)

These are just two of the diverse cabaret-style acts that range from seductive to staggering, with incredible feats of human dexterity, training and talent.

The show plays Tuesday through Thursday at 8 p.m. There are two shows on Fridays and Saturdays at7 and 10 p.m. And there’s one show on Sundays 5 p.m. You can buy tickets at www.la-soiree.com.
