At first it just seemed like a desperate, stupid joke between studio brass uncovered in the Sony email hack a year or so back, but now it turns out they’re serious. Or at least they’re getting serious about it now that the joke got out. RELATED: Watch Channing Tatum sing ‘Let it Go’ in Elsa drag Sony is apparently really planning a crossover movie melding the “21 Jump Street” and “Men in Black” franchises, with “The Muppets” director James Bobbin in early talks to take the helm, according to Variety. But honestly, does anyone think this was initially anything more than, “Hey, what do we have that actually do OK at the box office? Let’s put them together!”
