Sunday Day Parties at Gansevoort Park

While the crowds take to the Gansevoort Meatpacking, you can enjoy a bit more tranquility at the hotel’s Park Avenue outpost. Attendees can access the entire tri-level rooftop complex, sip spiked slushies and make a splash in the rooftop pool (which is normally closed to non-hotel guests) at the weekly parties.

Not so much a pool party as a “setting where like-minded creative, fashion and industry leaders can cool off,” guests at this private affair need a password to enter. Once past the velvet rope, attendees can enjoy guest DJs, an art exhibit and food from Williamsburg Pizza. Models with their comp card can get in without the password, but if that’s not you, good luck!
Grace Hotel DIP Aqua Bar pool parties

The pool might be indoors, but that doesn’t make the scene any less hot. The Grace boasts the only swim-up bar in the city — just remember to take your iPhone out of your trunks, OK? If you forget your suit, you can buy one at the front desk.

At this High Line hot spot, you can relax in the pool, on pink waterbeds or on lawn chairs that sit on the faux grass. Hit the creperie (!) for a post-swim snack.
