Even though she’s a celebrity, Emma Watson just wants a simple kind of life.

In an interview with “Vanity Fair,” the 26-year old shared why, exactly, privacy is so important to her: it comes down to being able to have a life or not. “If someone takes a photograph of me and posts it… they can see what I’m wearing and who I’m with. I have to carefully pick and choose my moment to interact.”

Okay, fine. So you don’t want us plebians tracking your every move. But why won’t you tell us about your boyfriend, huh?

“I want to be consistent,” she says, according to Elle. “I can’t talk about my boyfriend in an interview and then expect people not to take paparazzi pictures of me walking around outside my home. You can’t have it both ways.

Ugh, what are you trying to do Watson? Outfox the media? Just because you studied at Brown for a while?!
