Man, Dylan O’Brien must be really, really hurting. The “Maze Runner” star famously suffered some broken bones after an accident in March on the set of the third film in the YA franchise, causing production to be put on hold.

But now, more than six weeks since the incident, word comes that the movie’s filming has been halted indefinitely now. “The resumption of principal photography on ‘Maze Runner: The Death Cure’ has been further delayed to allow Dylan O’Brien more time to fully recover from his injuries,” a studio rep says in a statement.

“We wish Dylan a speedy recovery and look forward to restarting production as soon as possible.” So how severe was this accident? Well, according to a Canadian work safety report — that didn’t identify O’Brien by name — it was pretty grisly.

The actor suffered a “concussion, facial fracture and lacerations” after he fell off of his motorcycle during a scene. “The worker struck his head on the pavement and temporarily lost consciousness.” Yikes.
