Tina Fey humbly admits that when she was between making "30 Rock" and "the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" and had some time on her hands, she tried stretching herself a bit — namely by trying to get an audition for "Into the Woods" by hounding director Rob Marshall. "I did that thing you never do, where I’m like, ‘May I please audition?’ And it’s like, ‘They knew where you were sweetheart. They’d have found you if they wanted you to audition.'"
