It seems like each day brings new True Detective casting rumors. Today is no exception: Rachel McAdams is heavily rumored to be taking on one of the remaining leads, with former Friday Night Lights star Taylor Kitsch in contention for the last one. But Funny or Die has taken things one step further, with the introduction of Tiny Detectives, a show starring the 5 foot 1 inch Ellen Page and the 5 foot 2 inch Kate Mara.
Is it ever not funny when people sit on each other’s shoulders under a giant trench coat and pretend to be a taller person? The answer, obviously, is no. The false beard Page is wearing really sells it. HBO may march on with their dogged insistence on tall actors for their show, but we’re ready for the new season of Tiny Detectives.
