This Russian daredevil had a friend set his pants on fire before he jumped off a five-story building. Stuntman Alexander Chernikov, 22, told Life News that the stunt took a few weeks to prepare.
He told the news outlet that he took time scoping out the perfect spot for his stunt in his city, Barnaul, in the region Altai Krai. Chernikov said he had to find a building with a fire escape and checked the roof of the building ahead of time and for the best angle from which to jump.
Chernikov also bought special asbestos cloth to put under his pants - this cloth would protect his legs from the heat after his pants were set ablaze. He said he and his friends also rearranged the snow in front of the building so it would provide a soft landing for him.
Prepared or not, the stunt is still both impressive and terrifying.
