We got the chance to chat with “The Gift” director, writer and co-star Joel Edgerton along with his leads, Jason Bateman and Rebecca Hall, in the lux hilltop home where the new thriller was filmed. Edgerton, Bateman and Hall discuss how just trying to be polite can lead to some dark, disturbing situations — as chronicled in the film when Gordo (Edgerton) insinuates himself into the life of his childhood friend and his wife (Bateman and Hall).
