She posted a video the next day claiming she found her the guy she was looking for, but it turns out everything was a complete hoax.

She walks off camera and a man named Andy Sellar lets everyone know he owns a company named Sunny Coast Social Media and the previous viral video was a just a marketing scheme to promote Holiday Mooloolaba.

He explains that Natalia’s real name is Alizee Michel and she was just an actress in the videos. He just wanted to put Mooloolaba on the map.

“We do viral videos for businesses. Now I know there is going to be a lot of you that are upset by this … maybe not too happy,” says Sellar.

He was right. Many people aren’t happy with Sellar’s marketing plan to promote Holiday Mooloolaba and have expressed their feelings in the comment section on YouTube.

“I just wanted to put Mooloolaba on the map.”

We all can agree that a good marketing strategy can help gain recognition for your company, but we’re not sure if this was the best way to go about it.

In case this marketing scheme has piqued your interest in visiting Mooloolaba, here is where it’s located on the map. It appears to be just north of Brisbane along the eastern coast of Australia. Enjoy your stay.
