If Al Pacino is to be believed, he could have been Han Solo. The Oscar-winner says he nearly starred in some of the biggest franchise-starters in Hollywood history but decided to turn them down. “‘Star Wars” was mine for the taking, but I didn’t understand the script,” Pacino told an audience in London, according to the Evening Standard. He also claims he turned down the lead role in “Die Hard” that eventually went to Bruce Willis. “I gave that boy a career,” Pacino said.
