We’ll take a Grammy of weed

Colorado and Washington are not the only weed-friendly places in America: Celebrities weren’t afraid to talk about skunk at this year’s Grammy Awards. These celebs aren’t afraid to show some love for bud, and we’re not talking about beer.

Giuliana Rancic should have known better when she asked Wiz Khalifa his secret to performing his best. The rapper answered, “Staying highly medicated.” In case you have doubts, you can refer back to the lyrics to his track “Medicated,” with Juicy J. and Chevy Woods: “Let’s get medicated / Man I’m hella faded” and “Roll that weed up and smoke it.” It doesn’t get much clearer than that.

Things got awkward when Jamie Foxx did everything wrong when he took the stage: He made fun of Ringo Starr in a terrible British accent and tried to hit on Beyonce, in front of her husband and the rest of the world. His joke about the weird smell backstage might have been lost on some viewers at home, but trust us, he was talking about weed.

Taylor Swift, she ain’t. The adorable Kacey Musgraves shined in her light-up boots as she performed “Follow Your Arrow,” singing, “When the straight and narrow / Gets a little too straight / Roll up a joint, I would / And follow your arrow.” Musgraves won an award for Best Country Album, edging out Swift, Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw and Blake Shelton. Clearly, Musgraves knows how to balance work and play.

Legendary vaporizer aficionado Willie Nelson kept his mouth shut when it came to weed during his performance, but we’ll let history speak for itself here.
