What effect do the ‘Neighbors’ movies have on Zac Efron’s love life

Time to put on my Celebrity Gossip Detective hat — which looks like a sailboat made out of a folded-up Us Weekly — to do some digging into what hidden significance we’ve been overlooking in one of the week’s big breakup stories. To wit: Zac Efron has reportedly called it quits with interestingly named girlfriend Sami Miro after nearly two years of dating. Nearly two years!

According to E! News, it was because the two “did not have the same feelings for each other as they did when they first started dating,” and apparently Efron did the dumping. “The spark had died.” But could it really be such a coincidence that Efron’s first “Neighbors” film was released in May 2014 and he and Miro were first linked mere months later? And now, a month before “Neighbors 2” is set to be released, he goes and dumps her? What does it all mean? I have no idea, but I’m sure Seth Rogen is behind it somehow.
