Last weekend's Capital Summertime Ball in London went on without Zayn Malik, who pulled out of his performance less than two hours before showtime citing his struggle with anxiety.
"Unfortunately my axiety that has haunted me throughout the last few months around live performances has gotten the better of me," he wrote on Twitter. "With the magnitude of the event, I have suffered the worst anxiety of my career."
Thousands of fans and celebrities reached out to Malik to offer words of support. His girlfriend, model Gigi Hadid, also responded with her own message: "We are all here to support you and make each experience easier. Your talent and good heart will never lead you wrong. Love you and so proud of you always."
In light of recent rumors about Malik and Hadid's breakup, her message was loud and clear: the couple is still very much together and in love. Thank goodness for that — we're still recovering from the Calvin Harris-Taylor Swift split.
