50 orgasms a day: Woman treated for rare sexual disorder

Twenty-four-year-old Amanda Gryce said she has spent most of her life living with a rare sexual disorder that causes her to orgasm up to 50 times per day – without sex or masturbation.

The orgasms come on uncontrollably due to the mysterious condition, known as Persistent Sexual Arousal Disorder.

“It’s not pleasurable,” Gryce told The Daily Mail. “It has become like torture… It happens when I’m with my friends or out in public and it’s very embarrassing. It kills me inside. I just have to put on a smile and pretend that nothing’s wrong.”

The orgasms started when she was 6-years-old, but now, decades later, her quality of life is improving.

That’s because Gryce, a Florida resident, has found medical treatment to ease the discomfort of continuous pelvic muscle contractions.

However, under doctors’ orders Gryce and boyfriend Stuart Triplett, 22, must abstain from sexual contact while treatment runs its course.

“It was difficult at first to come out about my disorder with him. I didn’t know exactly when the right time was going to be to do that,” said Gryce.

Her boyfriend said the sex ban is “hard to cope with,” but that he’s willing to abstain.
