A Cape Cod getaway in your budget

There’s nothing like a summer afternoon idled away daydreaming, perhaps imagining an affordable Cape Cod home with a bucolic view and the ocean within walking distance. Well, wake up and smell the sea: Here’s a nice getaway without getting away from the fact that you aren’t a one-per-center.

Built in 1965 and set in New Seabury’s Stendahl Village complex, this affordable condominium’s design gives a modern twist to the standard Cape aesthetic. It sits on Dean’s Pond for year-round tranquil nature views. Popponesset Spit is an easy mile or so walk along Shore Road, and many side roads go directly to Popponesset Beach.
