Olivier Rousteing couldn’t be more excited to present his new collection, made clear by his tweets just hours before the shows that ran along of the lines of, “ARE YOU READY??? #balmainarmyisback #dontakeitpersonal #expressyourself #dontrepressyourself…” The black grill dress that Kendall Jenner rocked on the catwalk pretty much embodied the spirit of the whole show, with Rousteing stressing that, just like Rihanna, the Balmain woman for next spring isn’t afraid to be sexy. Apart from a few flimsy dresses and skirts, and a couple of perfectly cut Seventies flared pants (they’re going to be next summer’s staple), the collection was all structure and straight lines.
