Sometimes when you're on Facebook, you don't have time to take the Buzzfeed quiz a friend posted or to check out a music video you see in your timeline. In an attempt to make it easy to remember and find these types of things later, Facebook released a new "save" function today.

Now, for everything in your newsfeed, you have the option to press "save," which archives it in a new "Save" tab, located on the left-hand side of your Facebook homepage. Your save list is not made public; that way you won't unknowingly share what you plan on checking out later with everyone you're friends with. But if you do want to share something, Facebook of course makes it easy to do so, by adding a feature where you can simply swipe to the right and choose the option to share it.
