I am…
Cat Meffan, a U.K. health and fitness blogger and jewelry designer. As an ex-gymnast and dancer, I have found a new passion for yoga and all things bendy.

I am on Instagram because…
In the beginning, I used Instagram as a way of motivating myself to eat well, try new workouts, and as an excuse to buy new activewear. From that, it has evolved into what I hope is a page to inspire and motivate others through doing the things I love most.

Follow me for…
Fitness, yoga and health inspiration, with hopefully a few laughs alongthe way. I am very real with my followers, talking about times when I feel unmotivated, my injuries and some fitness fails! I like to chat about progress and how health and fitness is a journey that constantly changes along with our mindsets.

My motto is…
“You can’t rush something you want to last forever.” After being the girl who tried every new fad diet and fitness craze out there, I realized there was so much more to it than that. For me, being fit and healthy is a lifestyle, and one that I enjoy every second of.

I am…
Jessamyn Stanley, a 28-year-old body-positive yoga teacher, writer and advocate. While I was in graduate school, I went to our local Bikram yoga studio and I was surprised to discover that yoga provided an unspeakable level of relief for me.

I am on Instagram because…
I began documenting my yoga practice on Instagram simply so I could track my alignment when practicing at home. It’s also a great goal-setting mechanism – photographing my yoga practice anchored my home practice into a daily essential for my life.

I’m not really concerned with gaining more followers — who knows if social media will even be a “thing” in two to three years? I’m concerned about fostering change; I want to see more fat-bodied people living comfortably in their own skin and completely shame-free.

My motto is…
“Esse quam videri” — it means “to be, rather than to seem.” In addition to being my home state of North Carolina’s state motto, it’s also a reminder to remain authentic.

My fav Instagram post is…
A few moments from my home practice when I found balance [on my head] without expecting it. Thisencapsulates the reason I will never stop practicing yoga – because no matter what, even when I doubt myself, I always have the capacity to exceed my wildest expectations.

I am…
That curly-haired guy shouting about midget trees [broccoli].

I am on Instagram because…
It’s just a great platform to share ideas. I wanted to create a space that made it easy for people to be healthy, to eat right and to realize the body they want is achievable.

Fun advice that puts some creativity and pleasure back into your diet and fitness plan. I get a lot of people asking me why they aren’t losing weight, and I think it is really sad that we have been conditioned to under-eat, especially when trying shape up. That’s something I want to educate people about — you can’t train hard without the right fuel inside you.

My motto is…
“Prep like a boss!” If you are really serious about getting lean, preparation is key. You’ve got to set aside time to plan and prep the food you’ll eat over the next few days.

I am…
A former Australian elite pole vaulter from Perth, Western Australia. I spent most of my life as a professional sports person until 2011 when I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

I am on Instagram because…
I wanted to document my journey [dealing with] chronic fatigue. It was a space where I could share what I was learning and what really helped me through recovery. I want it to be a positive, and motivating place for people to come and feel inspired to live their healthiest and happiest life.

My motto is…
“Everyday is your chance to do something great for yourself and those around you. Happiness and positivity spreads like wildfire and it is contagious! All it takes is for you to light the spark.”
