Victoria Beckham hosted a small presentation during the Paris shows. We managed to sneak in a few questions about Harper and Anna Wintour.
You had one of NYFW’s most talked about moments when a photographer snapped a photo of Anna Wintour, without her sunglasses, smiling at little Harper.
It was great having her there sitting with David. I like to have them with me as much as I can.
Are you prepping Harper to one day fill your shoes?
I don’t know whether it will be Harper or one of the boys. The boys would be at the show as well if they weren’t at school. But it was great having Harper and David there.
It’s interesting that you chose to have this presentation at the British Ambassador’s House, would you say you’ve become an ambassador of sorts for British fashion?
Well I live in London now and my kids love it and my husband loves it. I’m proud of what I’ve achieved with my team and with how my business is growing. I’m glad that I can make women feel empowered. Because that’s ultimately why I do what I do. We’ve achieved a lot in five years. I’m really proud to be British.
