The graphic print party continues
No one quite owns the idea of print-mixing like Prada and Marni, both of which showed stellar graphics that were as much about texture and color as they were about print.

Skin is in
If there’s one thing Milan has over every other fashion capital, it’s sex. This season there were super-sheer garments, peek-a-boo cutouts and belly-grazing necklines. Gucci kicked this off with its very first look, featuring not only a see-through shirt but also a sheer bra.
Alberta Ferretti
White is trending
The summer shade has been everywhere, including Jil Sander, Versace and Alberta Ferretti, who played on its more innocent connotations. Meanwhile, Costume National showed a more sensual take on the trend.
No. 21
The shirt dress is a thing
The look has popped up all over the fashion circuit, from Alexander Wang in NYC to Paul Smith in London. Now it’s made its way to Milan via No. 21 and Tod’s, where embellishments and eyelets send this idea into more wearable territory.

The bra top is the new crop top
As if the crop top wasn’t taking flesh-flashing far enough, now the bra top has stolen its crown. In Milan, shows such as Emilio Pucci, Moschino and Dsquared2 were littered with them, featuring both jazzed-up prints and neutral shades.
