Hannah Bronfman’s tips for looking cute when it’s cold out

Hannah Bronfman is one of the coolest girls in fashion. Not only is she a model, she developed the app Beautified and DJs some of the industry’s hottest parties. One peek at her Instagram tells you that she’s big into fitness and to her, looking pretty is being both healthy and authentic. All of this made her the perfect fit to help throw AerieREAL‘s one-year anniversary party.

Unlike pretty much every other magazine ad and billboard you see, AerieReal’s whole campaign is about no Photoshopping or retouching. Building on the whole “it’s all about confidence” idea, the brand enlisted Bronfman to teach a Beyonce dance class at DavidBurtonGym. All in the name of fashion, we were there to dance along Bronfman (“Dancing With The Stars” alum Derek Hough and actress Jamie Chung joined in, too) and of course, to enlist her for some style advice.

“Looking cute when it’s cold out is all about your outer layers,” she tells us. “Wear a a bright jacket or scarf … make a statement!” Bronfman herself says some of her fave winter must-haves are plaid skirts, cashmere hats and hats with little pom-poms.

Another one of her winter tips: go bold with beauty! “A bright lip always seems to make you look friendly and more positive,” she tells us.
