Discussion of Kanye West's Yeezy season three presentation for New York Fashion Week dominated certain circles yesterday. There were sheer body stockings (so last season), a Kardashian-West family dress code, Lamar Odom's triumphant return and most importantly a very awesome leak of "performance rules" that showed up on Snapchat. The list, presumably handed out to models and the 1200 paid extras (one of whom is most definitely not being asked back), features strict, but totally reasonable demands for the Madison Square Garden show.
Here are a few:
"NO SING, UNLESS INSTRUCTED" Just don't.
"NO FAST MOVEMENTS" Easy.
"NO SLOW MOVEMENTS" Same.
"NO SHARP MOVES" But movements are fine.
"IF YOU ARE TIRED, SIT DOWN OR LYE DOWN" Just make sure to bring your own.
"ALTERNATE BETWEEN ATTENTION AND EASE." Unless you are tired.
"YOU ARE A PICTURE" You are.
"DO NOT ACT COOL" Follow Kanye's example.
"YOUR BEHAVIOR AFFECTS THE CONDUCT OF OTHERS" Very true.
Check out the full list below. In its entirety, it's quite impressive, but suffers from an obvious fatal flaw: Why didn't anyone ban Snapchatting and leaking the rules?
