Taylor went from a troubled teenager to one of the best selling artists of all times. He worked with the best in the business and after obtaining a fan base he married Carly Simon in 1972. His marriage followed a two-year music hiatus during which he spent time with his new wife and two children.

The music star resumed creating new albums in 1974 with huge success from which many of the singles, including some duets with his wife, became number one hits. The flame burned out in 1981, and by 1983 Taylor and Simon were officially divorced.

Taylor rebounded after hitting some low spots after the divorce and has continued to make albums since then, including his 2015 best seller, “Before This World.”
