This week is the U.K.’s first ever Children’s Mental Health Week and the Dutchess of Cambridge herself is taking advantage of the opportunity to raise awareness about this important issue. Kate Middleton released a 2-minute video talking about why this cause is important to her heart. “Both William and I have seen that many young people are struggling to cope with the impact of bullying, bereavement, domestic violence, family breakdown and more. Without support, the effects of these challenges can be traumatic, leading to serious issues such as anxiety, depression, addiction, and self harm,” she says in the video. Watch the full video below:
