Priya Krishna made a name for herself as an undergrad at Dartmouth for her campus newspaper column, in which she shared simple recipes students can make with ingredients from their campus dining halls. Krishna just released her first book “Ultimate Dining Hall Hacks” and you can read our interview with her here. She shares her recipe for Chicken Pot Pie with Metro readers. Ingredients Sliced chicken Mushrooms Corn Peas Alfredo sauce Garlic powder or oil Salt and pepper Garlic bread (or regular bread + garlic powder)
Equipment Toaster Microwave
Directions 1. Put the chicken, mushrooms, corn, peas, and Alfredo sauce in a bowl, and then sprinkle a little garlic powder or oil over the whole thing. 2. Add a few shakes of salt and pepper. 3. Toast the bread. 4. Break the bread into smaller pieces and arrange them like a crust over the chicken and vegetables. 5. Microwave the chicken pot pie for 30 seconds.
