Microsoft has justannouncedthe release of Picturesque – a free app for Android mobile devices that offers a host of different optionswidgetsand features on the lock screen of your Android smartphone. Once you install the app, you’ll notice it feels like a second home screen. There are multiple screens to swipe through and a slew of different widgets, customizable news feeds, widgets, notification settings,weather apps and a Bing search bar right on the lock screen. If you’ve already spent the time to customize your existing lock screen then this app may not be for you. But for those interested in more capabilities and options, then this you might appreciate it. With so many widgets, tools and automation available in Picturesque, there could be a risk of so many apps running up your data and drawing power from your battery.
