New York Fashion Week: Rebecca Minkoff Fall 2015

Punk poetess Patti Smith was the starting point for Rebecca Minkoff’s rock ‘n roll-inflected outing this season, though the result had more in common with Janis Joplin’s or Grace Slick’s California-dreamin’ style than Smith’s hard-edged androgynous chic. No matter: Minkoff’s fans will find plenty to salivate over here: frayed shearling vests, diaphanous chiffon maxi dresses, and printed knit ponchos worn with leather minis and tall fringe boots.
