Nothing’s tardy about this party

New Year’s Eve is typically a letdown, but we managed to sniff out the party that made “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” look like “The 700 Club.”

New Year’s Eve is typically a letdown, but we managed to sniff out the party that made “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” look like “The 700 Club.”

Bravo’s “Watch What Happens” — a talk show hosted by Executive Vice President of Original Programming, Andy Cohen — has become as much of a draw as their “Real Housewives” franchise. As Cohen hosted Bravo’s reality stars in a live, boozy broadcast, we snuck in a few interviews with the guests.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Zolciak was largely the inspiration for the program’s “wig drop” at midnight, but the weave-wearing singer of “Tardy for the Party” doesn’t mind the razzing: “I could give a s—,” she says. “I have a head full of beautiful hair. I just started this wig line and now it’s become this big thing. A wig drop? It’s awesome.”

Zolciak’s “Atlanta” co-star Nene Leakes was also at the party, and while she tore up the dance floor with Cohen and “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Tamra Barney, she kept coy when asked about her resolutions for 2011. “Being positive and making a lot of money,” she says.

Barney was more candid when discussing the new season of “Orange County,” in which she is almost completely divorced from her husband. “There’s no better way to be free than to be naked, so I filmed most of the season naked,” she says.
