You probably can’t count the number of times you’ve been cruising around the city on your bike and thought, “Gee, I sure wish this bicycle offered me similar functionality to my smartphone.” Be careful what you wish for, you may just get it (and then look like a boob).

Samsung, manufacturer of just about everything, has just unveiled a “smart bike” concept which takes many of the features available in your garden variety smartphone and shoves them into a bicycle. It offers a display that shows your routes, aerobic information and, thanks to a camera embedded in the rear. Sadly, you are not encouraged to play Candy Crush while on this bicycle as you will crash and die.

Of course, as with all great bottles of ketchup, good things come to those who wait. A consumer model of this smart bike is several years off.
