Better Breakfast Month is almost over, but we’re not letting September end without giving you a yummy, nutritious way to start your day. Try this chocolate banana smoothie recipe courtesy of QVC’s resident foodie and cookbook author David Venable:
Chocolate-Banana Breakfast Smoothie
David’s tip: “Get the blender out — and gather all the non-perishable ingredients — the night before. I used oat milk to make this smoothie extra nutritious, but feel free to use whatever you have on hand.”
Ingredients:
2 bananas, peeled and cut into quarters
1-1/2 cups oat milk
2 tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened
2 tbsp whey protein powder
3 tbsp almond butter, creamy
2 tbsp honey
1/3 cup low-fat granola
1 cup ice
Directions:
Add all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth; serve cold.
