Street style lessons: Petite people can do midi lengths

Petite Midi

In Sao Paolo, street style seems to be about making the rules rather than following them. This petite lady, for example, is challenging all sorts of conventions — and shutting it down in the process. Let’s take a few notes:

a) People under 5’3″ can shun heels (and still have the power to own the street.)

b) They can even wear midi lengths and look awesome.

c) Sneakers look better off the treadmill (and outside of the gym completely.)

d) A clutch can never be too big (though a discreet strap may come in handy for extra support.)

There, rulebook, take that.
