L.L. Bean’s One Fund Boston Tote
Leave it to the Maine-based outdoorsy brand to come up with a stylish and totally useable way to show your Boston pride. You’d better act fast, though — they’re only producing 3,500 of their classic totes printed with the One Fund Boston logo. All profits for sales of the bags (which are the perfect carry-all for the transition from beach towels to textbooks and are made from the same material as theFenway rain delay tarp!) benefits the One Fund. Look for them in select storeson September 6.
Sarah Flint
New York-based, Milan-trained and Boston-bred shoe designer Sarah Flint’s flirty designs marry a feminine aesthetic with a sophisticated edge. Flint’s shoes — many of which give nods to her New England heritage, like the sleek Concord boot ($995) — are pricey, but we think are worth the splurge. You can now find Flint’s designs at Tess and Carlos (with locations in Cambridge, Concord and Weston) and, on September 6, she’ll host a special trunk show in store.

The Vans DQM General
Fancy stilettos not your footwear of choice? Head over to the new Vans DQM shop on Newbury where you can pick up a couple fresh pairs of Vans’ signature sneakers, as well as browse a full collection of skater-chic threads for both men and women. Vans opened this Boston location following the success of The General, the skate company’s first retail venture in SOHO, and plan to offer a variety of styles from their Classics, California, Surf, OTW, Skate and Vault collections. We may be in for another cold Boston winter, but that doesn’t mean we can’t rock California cool gear all year long.
