The Word: Adam Levine quits — and rejoins — Maroon 5

If you read Maroon 5 might not do another album after “Hands All Over,” don’t believe the hype — lead singer and foxy McFoxerson Adam Levine wants to set the record straight. “My motto basically is like, this will continue. Maroon 5 will always go on in some way, shape or form, probably for a long time,” he told us at the launch for Maroon 5’s limited edition Snapple flavor, “Tea Will Be Loved” (not to worry, they’re not totally selling out; proceeds will benefit Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization). “We obviously, more than anything, want to stick together and I think we will,” said Levine, who sadly remained shirted throughout our brief conversation. “But yeah, we’ll have to see where we’re at. I just quit and rejoined the band just during this conversation. You didn’t even know.”

Levine found tremendous success on “The Voice” this year, and recently confirmed that he’ll be back as a judge for the next season. Is there anything he’ll do differently the second time around?

“No, I love the show and I’m a huge fan of it. I think it’s one of things that kinda crept up on me and surprised me. It’s really fun and I’m so genuinely excited to come back to it.”

DWTS dance mates revealed

Be sure to tune into “Good Morning America” today to see who new DWTS cast members — David Arquette, Chynna Phillips, Hope Solo, Ricki Lake, Nancy Grace, Carson Kressley, and Chaz Bono, among others — will be paired with for the next season of the hit reality show.

Although people are saying this is the worst lineup yet, I?think Grace is a perfect addition. Think of her ‘Tot Mom Tango!’
