The Word: Britney Spears reminds world of her hotness

Britney Spears is looking all “let’s forget about the Kevin Federline/head shaving/rehab visits/losing custody of my two kids/psych-ward stays/court-ordered conservatorship of my dad era” these days. The songstress made two very public appearances in the past week, looking just fabulous — no weave or belly roll in sight! The first was last Wednesday when she hosted “An Evening of Southern Style,” a charity event in Beverly Hills. Then she appeared on Saturday night as a co-host of KIIS FM’s Wango Tango 2011 (she introduced Lupe Fiasco with Ryan Seacrest). The two sightings show the world she’s ready to take on her highly anticipated Femme Fatale tour, which kicks off next month with opening act Nicki Minaj.

It’s nice to see her looking so good, right? She’s come a long way.

Sheen vs. Kutcher

Charlie Sheen isn’t too thrilled by the news that Ashton Kutcher will be replacing him on “Two and a Half Men,” and he’s made his feelings known in a profanity-laced letter to TMZ. “My fans may tune in for a minute — but at the end of the day, no one cares about your feeble show without me,” Sheen writes. “Shame on you. Not even a phone call to the man that put you on the map. The man that put $500 million in your pockets.” As for Kutcher himself, Sheen has a special message: “Enjoy planet Chuck, Ashton,” Sheen says in reference to series creator Chuck Lorre. “There is no air, laughter, loyalty or love there.”

As long as Kutcher primarily performs with his shirt off, I think most people will forget all about Charlie Sheen by next season.
