Alsatian Spritz
Warming spirit of apple brandy and notes of cinnamon spice with an elegant effervescence of the Lucien Albrecht Crémant d’Alsace Brut, this cocktail is perfect for Thanksgiving because it has so many of the same flavors and spices.
Ingredients
1 ounce apple brandy (Lairds American apple brandy or Calvados)
0.25 ounce maple syrup
1 dash aromatic bitters
3 ounces Lucien Albrecht Crémant d’Alsace Brut
Directions
Stir all ingredients and strain into coupe glass or over ice in a rocks glass.Top with Lucien Albrecht Crémant d’Alsace Brut.Garnish with freshly grated cinnamon or cinnamon stick and apple slice.
Autumn Cobbler
This is another cocktail that perfectly captures the Thanksgiving mood with flavors of spice and fruit. The dry sherry is an excellent touch as it adds a nutty flavor to the cocktail.
Ingredients:
1 orange
0.5 ounce simple syrup
2 ounces Amontillado sherry
3 ounces Jaillance Clairette de Die
