Ice cream company Lick Me I’m Delicious will give you more than an oral tingle. The Bristol, England,-based group’s famed dessert, dubbed The Arousal, is laced with Viagra to give male consumers the necessary lift to keep the fun and games going well into the night.

Metro chats with food inventor Charlie Harry Francis about why he’s adding a virile boost to after-dinner delights.

You created a Viagra ice cream for an anonymous celebrity client. Would it happen to be Hugh Hefner?
[Laughs] I don’t suppose he would mind. Unfortunately, we’ll have to keep the name confidential.

Did you want the taste to add to the sensuality?
It made sense for me to reference aphrodisiacs like oysters, but I wouldn’t say it was the tastiest thing — it doesn’t mix well with cream. In the end, we moved to Champagne, so each ball (funny word) had 35mg of Viagra in it, which is a basic dose (1-2 tablets). Then we made each ball separately so that it had the correct amount in it.

Did it work on you?
[Laughs] No, no I didn’t try it with Viagra. There’s actually a reason I can’t, but I’m not sure I want to share that.

Was there any chance that you could leave your client with a permanent erection?
Was there any chance that I could leave my client with a permanent erection? I don’t know how to answer that question. … No, it was their prescription.

Is this the oddest ice cream you’ve created?
Viagra is the funniest, but the oddest was the glow-in-the-dark ice cream because of the science behind it, which uses jellyfish luminescence. If you lick it, it glows, which is pretty exciting. Your tongue acts like a lightbulb switch.
