Pennsylvania brewer Victory has a new production brewery, and now a new brew. The company is also building a second brewpub, in Kennett Square.

1337 Ale, a limited edition beer named for the legislation that legalized homebrewing, is now available along the East Coast. Use Victory’s Beerfinder to find out where to buy it.

The recipe is based on oneco-founders Bill Covaleski and Ron Barchet came up with during their early days as homebrewers. Victory describes it as having an aroma of mild caramel malts and earthy hop qualities.
