What is SoundCloud Pulse?

Today, SoundCloud released a new feature, SoundCloud Pulse, made specifically for musicians using SoundCloud to upload their music and connect with fans. SoundCloud Pulse allows for more interaction between the artist and the listener, by allowing them to reply to comments directly.

The new extension also lets artist view how many plays their uploaded songs are getting, without that information being revealed to everyone. That way, they can track which of their songs are most popular, giving them a good insight into how to gear their music in the future.

Right now, SoundCloud Pulse is only available to Android users althought the company says an iOS extension is in the works. It’s a big step for SoundCloud into making the site more mobile friendly, and the company teases more mobile features are to come.
