World Cancer Day aims to unite the global community in the fight against the cancer epidemic.

What is World Cancer Day?

World Cancer Day originated in 2000 at the first World Summit Against Cancer, held in Paris. Its aim is to promote research for curing as well as preventing the disease, upgrading patient services and the mobilisation of the global community against cancer.
