In honor of this week’s New York City Wine & Food Festival, we asked some Food Network stars where they always make a point to eat when they’re in town. Maybe you’ll see of them at their favorite places this weekend!

Tyler Florence

“I know the first place we head to is always Barbuto (775 Washington St., 212-924-9700). We love Jonathan Waxman and his general manager Jen Davidson. We never really feel like it’s been a true visit to NYC without having his roasted chicken with a glass of rosé. Delicious!”
Florence will be at Saturday’s Pitch Me: How to Turn Your Love for Food into a Successful Culinary Business, plus Saturday’s Flavors of the West Coast and Sunday’s Grand Tasting.

Ted Allen

“I live in NYC; my favorite meals lately have been at Andrew Carmellini’s place in SoHo, The Dutch (131 Sullivan St., 212-677-6200), and in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, at Matthew Hamilton’s wonderful Lulu & Po (154 Carlton Ave., 917-435-3745). Both are so personal and special!”
Allen will be at Sunday’s Bloody Mary Brunch.

Anne Burrell

“My favorite NYC restaurant changes all the time, but I do Love Mission Chinese (154 Orchard St., 212-529-8800). I love the Egg Egg Noodles — they are the Asian version of carbonara!”
Burrell will be at Sunday’s Grand Tasting and the Sunday Slices pizza party.

Marc Murphy

“In a city like New York, it’s hard to pick a favorite spot because there are many great restaurants, but one of my go-to places is Extra Virgin in the West Village (259 W. Fourth St., 212-691-9359). I love it because it’s a lively vibe in an intimate atmosphereand the food is incredible. The chef is my good friend Joey Fortunato, who I actually worked with as his sous chef a million years ago! You really can’t go wrong with any of the pastas, but one of my favorites is the baked lasagna on Monday nights. I also love the grilled halibut that’s served with fresh herbs, tomato carpaccio, arugula and extra virgin olive oil.”
Murphy will be at Friday’s Burger Bash, Saturday’s Taste New York Brunch and Sunday’s Bloody Mary Brunch.
