Authorities are hoping the public can help answer questions about the sudden reappearance of a New Hampshire teen who went missing last year and have released pictures of the clothes she was wearing when she returned home.

Abigail Hernandez, 15, returned home Sunday night, the New Hampshire attorney general’s office said. She had been missing for about nine months and was the subject of a search by local, state and federal authorities.

On Tuesday, authorities released pictures of the outfit she was wearing when she returned home and of a backpack she had at that time.

“Investigators continue to conduct interviews and review videotape surveillance from the businesses in the area surrounding the Hernandez home in order to gain answers to the many questions surrounding the disappearance and return of Abigail,” the New Hampshire attorney general’s office said in a statement.

Authorities are asking that if anyone saw Hernandez, or a woman wearing the pictured clothing or drawstring bag, in the area of North South Road in Conway, N.H., Sunday between 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. to contact them.

Anyone with information can call 604-271-3636 or 603-356-5715.
