Police announced that an alleged rapist who evaded a SWAT team and police was located and arrested late Tuesday evening in Kensington.
Albert DiPrimeo, 57, was arrested on the 2000 block of E. Venango Street and is currently being processed by authorities, police said today.
DiPrimeo reportedly attempted to rape his ex-wife inside his home on the 7900 block of Marsden Street in Holmesburg on Monday morning.
The victim was reportedly staying over at DiPrimeo’s house, but things apparently turned ugly when he allegedly held a gun against her head and reportedly ordered her to have sex with him before sexually assaulting her.
The victim was able to escape to a neighbor’s house and call 911.
SWAT and police responded to DiPrimeo’s house, believing he was still inside, but DiPrimeo had fled the home.
DiPrimeo sports several tattoos in his profile pictures on Facebook. According to his profile, he studied at Harvard University and works at “trust found.”
