Immigration officers are moving to have Radoslaw Czerkawski, the accused abuser of Puppy Doe, deported back to Poland once his case is closed.
Czerkawski, whose work visa expired in September, isfacing five years in jail for each of 11 counts of animal cruelty and a charge of misleading a police investigation in Quincy, according to the Boston Herald.He is being held on $500,000 bail at the Norfolk House of Correction.

Czerkawski was living in Quincy and working as a home health aide for an elderly dementia patient. She passed away on Aug. 31, the same day Puppy Doe was discovered and put down due to the extent of its injuries.
Czerkawski is also facing larceny charges for allegedly stealing 11 checks from St. Lawrence Martyr Church in New Bedford, police told the Herald.
