Another water main break was reported in Northeast Philadelphia yesterday and left about 50 customers without water, according to multiple media reports.
CBS, NBC and ABC reported the 6-inch break was reported around 9 a.m. on the 2000 block of Anchor Street in the Frankford. Cold temperatures were cited as a culprit.
A few days before Christmas a 60-inch break near Frankford and Torresdale Avenues flooded roads, caused outages across the city and led to school and business closures.
A representative from the Philadelphia Water Department did not immediately return a call for comment.
