Anthony Weiner got into a heated argument with George McDonald on Tuesday, which ended with Weiner sarcastically calling the 69-year-old Republican mayoral candidate “grandpa.”

Weiner may want check his surroundings before uttering a joke like that one. The comment was made moments before an AARP forum, attended mostly by seniors, and was captured on camera by NY1.

It all began after Weiner greeted McDonald and apparently put his hands on his chest, according to NY1.

McDonald: “I said keep your hands to yourself.”
Weiner: “I heard what you said.”
McDonald: “Don’t put your hands on me ever again.”
Weiner: “Really? What’s going to happen if I do? You’re a tough guy now?”
McDonald: “I am. I can defend myself.”
Weiner: “[inaudible]…your anger issues under control.”
McDonald: “I don’t have any anger issues.”
Weiner: “But you do, grandpa.”

McDonald has been on the attack over Weiner’s sexting scandal, including calling him a “self-pleasuring freak” at a Queens forum last week.

He tried to bash Weiner again at Tuesday’s forum, calling him a “glib narcissist.”

“I would contrast my values with Anthony Weiner’s values any day of the week, seven days a week,” he said, but the crowd only booed him.

AARP spokesman David Irwin said Weiner’s “grandpa” remark was unfortunate, The New York Post reports.

“We don’t think age should be a considered when running for public office, or for anything else for that matter,” he said.
