Police shot an armed suspect in the Bronx on Saturday after the man pulled a gun on three people.
Jayson Ramos, 22, reportedly pointed his Glock 9mm handgun at the victims in front of the Sake II Restaurant in the Belmont section of the Bronx at around 7:33 p.m., authorities said.
Inside the restaurant, three officers were eating dinner and heard the dispute from indoors. Officers said Ramos began to run off when cops stepped out and approach him.
The police also said that Ramos pointed the gun at them as he was running, prompting one cop to open fire at the suspect and shooting him in his left leg.
Ramos continued to leave the scene and hobbled around the block before the officers apprehended him. He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where remains listed in stable condition, police said.
The officers were transported to Jacobi Hospital for tinnitus and are also in stable condition, according to authorities.
Ramos was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm, possession of a weapon with intent to use and reckless endangerment.
