Throngs of playful people turned out at North Point Park in Cambridge Saturday for the Banditos Misteriosos of Boston's public pillow fight.
The pillow party coincided with International Pillow Fight Day.
Over 140 cities were expected to hold pillow fights this year, including Cape Town, Tel Aviv, Caracas, Chicago, London, Los Angeles, New York City and Paris.
The local fight kicked off at 3 p.m., and included rules; no feather-filled pillows and no zippers. Also, no hitting with any objects besides pillows.
