Barack Obama comes back to rake in New York’s cash

President Barack Obama was in town for a star-studded trio of campaign fundraisers Monday night. The president attended fundraising events with former President Bill Clinton. The first was a small private event held at the Upper East Side mansion of billionaire wealth management adviser Marc Lasry, followed by a gala at the Waldorf Astoria, where Jon Bon Jovi performed. Tickets for the Lasry reception cost $40,000 per person and tickets for the gala started at $2,500 per person. Later, Obama was due at the New Amsterdam Theater in Harlem, where tickets started at $250.
