The Beach Boys will be joining the Boston Pops for the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular at the Hatch Shell on July 4.

The Beach Boys will perform with the Boston Pops during the annual Fourth of July concert at the Hatch Shell, which will be live-streamed online for the first time.
The Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular concert kicks off on the Esplanade with a its TV broadcast at 8 p.m. and the concert begins at 8:30 p.m. And of course, the fireworks display will light up the sky over the Charles River starting at 10:30 p.m.
In addition to The Beach Boys, performers include Megan Hilty of the musical “Wicked,” the cast of “The Phantom of the Opera,” and the Boston Children’s Chorus, according to Boston 4 Productions, the event organizer.
And it wouldn’t be a July 4 in Boston without the Boston Pops. The orchestra will play Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture complete with cannon fire.
Additionally, WBZ will live-stream the concert on its website – the first time Boston’s celebration of America’s birthday will be made available live online.
